For clients & hiring teams

Know what you approved, what changed, and what you owe.

Zlaip gives clients one place to review creative work, approve deliverables online, accept change orders, and pay milestones — with a full audit trail instead of scattered email threads.

A client approval workflow you can trust

Creative projects fail when approval is ambiguous — praise in a group chat, feedback from the wrong stakeholder, or "looks good" on an old version. Zlaip names a designated approver per milestone and requires explicit Approval Lock™ when Definition-of-Done is complete.

That is deliverable approval with a timestamp and version — proof of client approval if questions arise later.

  • Review submissions in one agreement timeline
  • Request revisions within contracted round limits
  • Lock approval explicitly — reactions in chat are not approvals

Client sign-off without the email chaos

Email chains bury decisions. Zlaip interleaves messages with system cards — deliverable submitted, revision usage, scope drift warnings, change order drafts, approvals, and payment events — so status is visible without forensic inbox search.

Stakeholders can be invited to view progress without gaining binding approval authority.

Change orders before scope expands

When the creative team flags work outside locked deliverables, you see a Scope Drift™ card with Ignore or Create Change Order. Expansion is documented with scope, fee, and timeline before work continues.

No silent scope growth — and no surprise invoice for work you never formally accepted.

Pay milestones when gates are met

Payment follows the same rules as approval. After Approval Lock™, the Payment Release Gate™ opens — pay sent invoices via configured methods or fund milestone escrow through integrated partners.

Open disputes pause release for the affected milestone until resolved, with Vault evidence available to both parties.

FAQ

Common questions

Do clients need a separate product or login type?
No. Clients and creatives use the same Zlaip account. Your role — creative or client — is per agreement, not global. You can be the client on one project and the creative on another.
How do I join a project my creative invited me to?
Accept the magic-link invite or sign up with email or Google, complete a short profile, and land in the agreement timeline. No separate "client portal" to learn.
What if I disagree with a deliverable?
Request revisions within the contracted round limit, or discuss a change order if the ask is outside original scope. Disputes can be opened if needed — they block payment release until resolved.
