AI Asset Review

Catch wrong files and objective defects before Approval Lock. AI suggests draft comments on the asset — humans publish, approve, and release payment.

Why generic AI is not enough for client deliverables

Uploading a file to ChatGPT can surface useful notes — but it does not know your milestone label, revision limit, or Definition of Done. Frame.io reviews video brilliantly; it does not enforce contract gates.

Zlaip AI Asset Review runs inside Review Workspace on the same agreement timeline as Revision Boundary™, Scope Drift™, and Approval Lock™.

  • Wrong deliverable uploaded (logo pack vs. social cut)
  • Placeholder or truncated copy on an otherwise “done” file
  • DoD gaps discovered after the client already said “looks good” in email

What gets scanned

When a review session opens, Zlaip queues a scan for supported sources:

  • Images, PDF, video, and audio (hosted upload)
  • Website staging (with snapshot)
  • Word documents (.docx) — text extracted for AI; Word-style preview for humans
  • CSV and Excel spreadsheets
  • Pasted plain text (inline, no file)

Two layers: deliverable match + quality findings

First, the model checks whether the file plausibly matches this deliverable (full, partial, or no match). Wrong files suppress noisy quality findings.

When the asset matches, the scan flags objective issues — placeholders, missing sections, contrast when accessibility is in scope, visible DoD gaps — and suggests draft comments with anchor hints (timecode, PDF region, text selection, spreadsheet cells).

Human in the loop — always

Findings land as draft comments until a reviewer publishes them. Approval Lock still requires the designated approver. When revision rounds are exhausted, the scan stops suggesting new revision feedback.

Use the AI tab in the sidebar for findings; generate a review brief before approve vs. revise decisions.

Typical milestone flow

Integrate AI Asset Review into your existing approval process:

  • Creative publishes deliverable to Review Workspace
  • AI scan runs in background; client reviews with pinned comments
  • Adopt or dismiss AI draft findings after editing
  • Request revision or bind Approval Lock on accepted version
  • Payment Release Gate opens invoice or escrow per agreement

FAQ

Common questions

Does AI approve deliverables for the client?
No. AI suggests draft comments and brief themes. Only the designated approver can bind Approval Lock.
Does Zlaip replace Frame.io or ChatGPT?
Different jobs. See our comparison: Zlaip scans against your locked agreement and feeds the accountability timeline — Frame.io excels at pro video review; ChatGPT is general-purpose.
Can AI review Word payslips and contracts?
Yes. Upload .docx via the same review upload flow. AI reads extracted text; reviewers use text selection comments on the formatted preview.
Can clients review Excel budgets and financial models in Zlaip?
Yes. Upload CSV or Excel (.xlsx, .xls) to Review Workspace. Clients leave cell-range comments, run optional AI Asset Review on tabular data, and bind Approval Lock on the accepted version.
